Course #100 - Creating Cooperative ChildrenSM

Each course in the Family Teams Program is taught over several sessions in a comfortable, non-threatening group setting of several couples and a Family Team Coach. Each course provides simplified explanations and a series of experiential role-modeling scenarios through which parents really learn the effective, healthy, loving and functional responses which transform the child’s behaviors, immediately.

Cooperative DisciplineSM is the first step in Creating Cooperative Children!SM

In the fast paced world we live in, parents have very little time for their children, and children have schedules as busy as their parents! Creating Cooperative Children™ is the fundamental work in the Family Teams Program.SM

Your intention for creating your very own Family Dream Team with consistent cooperation, is defined long before the first discipline strategy is examined. In order to "have" more cooperative children, there are many underlying filters which must be examined. Cooperative DisciplineSM strategies are outlined, with a basic tenet that every thought, word or action first comes from a place of FEAR or LOVE both for the parents and child. Misbehaving children and stressed out parents are both responding from a place of FEAR, driven by emotional or developmental needs that are not being met. Participants will gain a new understanding of Six Behavioral PrioritiesSM and the experience of transforming misbehaviors from Fearful PrioritiesSM to Loving Priorities.SM

Parents learn to recognize and respond effectively to common and repetitive misbehaviors, defusing most situations immediately, and with long term benefits. Participants gain a new understanding of how to create the behaviors which come from a root of LOVE, such as security, cooperation, confidence, contribution, discovery and respect.
